Hello, my name is Carol. I have been a close friend of the family for many years. I went to school with Mary Ann’s mother, aunties and uncles. I cannot explain how horrified and shocked I was by the news of this young girl I have watched grow up, murdered. This news has also had a terrible effect on the people of Reading and beyond, so no one can begin to imagine what the families are going through. My family and I decided to try and raise as much money as we can for Mary Ann’s family. This way we can help and support them at this sad time. This appeal has just started recently. However, we have received quite a lot of support from member of the Reading community.     I am appealing for your help. We are looking for Cash or Cheque donations, Raffle Prize Donations or Pubs and Clubs offering venues to hold events we are looking to plan.
